Do not be the slave of another being. God has created you free.
Imprisoned is he whose heart is imprisoned from Allâh. Captured is he who is captured by his desires.

“Oh Allah, grant me your love, grant me that I love those who love you; grant me, that I might do the deeds that win your love. Make your love dearer to me than the love of myself, my family and wealth.”
Battles are not won by numbers but by Imaan. If you want to defeat your struggle, gain Imaan.

German Muslim detainees perform prayer while being handcuffed. SubhanAllah!
When you tell someone “Assalamu Alaykom (Peace be upon you)”, you are telling them “My guarantee to you is not harm, I will never do anything to harm you.” SubhanAllah. What a powerful greeting it is! And yet we take it for granted. We don’t even think what we are saying when we say it. And may Allah (SWT) protect us from the times we become hypocritical. We tell somebody “Assalamu Alaykom”, without realizing that we have just told them we won’t harm them. And as soon as they turn their backs, we begin to harm them.

CAN YOU SEE ME?
Jamila (age 15) sits at home in Gaza City. She lost both her legs, and her sister, Shaza, was killed during the December 2008-January 2009 Israeli military incursion. A missile hit their home as they played on the roof. The one-month conflict killed 1,300 Gazans, including 350 children.
Jamila’s photograph was taken by Rana, 18, during a UNICEF-organized children’s photography workshop.

Everyone has someone:
a friend, a lover, some skill or work.
But I am alone
with the dream of my Beloved
hidden in the corner of my heart.
